Overview
In medium-sized hound (Wakayama, Mie Prefecture in particular) of the mountainous region of Japan, and is called Kishu dog from the local name. It has been used to hunt wild boar mainly from old BC, but in Kishu, it has been used in deer hunting dog with a sense of speed in on the small side in some provinces. I have received the designation of protected species in 1934. It has served as a wild boar hound also, as a home dog now.
Characteristics
Beast hound of medium-sized well-proportioned, it is well developed in both skeletal muscle. Gait is rich in endurance resilient. How to Care & How to Train
